From darkness to the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds, that which brings us closer to divinity; lights illuminate every corner of India during Diwali and the scent of incense sticks hang in the air, mingled with the joy, togetherness and hope.
'The festival of lights' came alive at Innovative College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida on the 13th of October, 2017. The whole college in a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors with bright colours and the Rangoli was done by students with perfect setting to the festivity. The Principal lit the lamp to begin the assembly on the auspicious occasion. The song 'Diwali “Aayee Hai Diwali” brought out the essence of the festival -celebration of life and goodness. Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides faculties gave the message to all the students that Instead of crackers, let you laughter be heard all around. Celebrate a pollution free Diwali.
The sun does not shine there, nor do the moon and the stars, nor do lightning shine. All the Diyas of the world cannot be compared even to a ray of the inner light of the Self. Merge yourself in this light of lights and enjoy the “ HAPPY DIWALI”.
